Student Technology

Malden Public Schools believes that by providing devices to students, we create opportunities to gives them quick access to information, open up creative opportunities, and prepares them with the skills needed to be successful in a 21st century world. In participating in supporting a 1:1 program, Malden is working to ensure that all students have access to technology. Students in grades K-5 students will have access to shared tech carts, while students in grades 6-8 will participate in a 1:1 program. Students in grades 9-12 will also participate in a 1:1 program with the addition that they may take their device home.

2019 Malden Teacher Summer Camp

You spend much of the year taking care of our students, now it’s time to for us to take care of you. Listed below you will find the descriptions for the Malden Teacher Summer Camp. When registering for workshops, please be mindful of session times and requirements to avoid signing up for conflicting sessions.

For most offerings, spaces will fill on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to register as soon as possible. Registration will close on June 10th, but be aware that some sessions will close much sooner.

Thank you all for your participation on the November 6th PD. Below you will find a summary of evaluation survey and presentations/ resources from sessions. If you are a presenter and do not see your session listed, please email Natalia Brennan your session materials.

Evaluation Summary

Total Responses: 359

Number of  Attendees: 572

Session 1: 84% were Satisfied or Very Satisfied

Session 2: 93% were Satisfied or Very Satisfied

Session 3: 93% were Satisfied or Very Satisfied

Of those surveyed, 98.6% said they would like to try this format again.

Listed below you will find the descriptions for the November 6th Expo. Review the descriptions and pick your top 3 choices for each time slot. Then, use the registration link below to sign up for your sessions. We will do our best to place your in your first choice, but registration is based on first-come, first serve. Please use the filters to help search offerings.

Location for all: Malden High School

7:30-8:30 Registration  Please pick up your materials/schedules when you arrive.
8:40-9:00 Welcome Superintendent Oteri will greet staff in the Jenkins Auditorium.
9:15-10:30 Session 1 
10:45-12:00 Session 2
12:00 – 1:00  Lunch – Pick up your lunch and find a spot to catch up with colleagues.  There will be a 5DP information table available for those who would like to catch up on the latest with the 5 District Partnership.
