Any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student encountering difficulty in scheduling courses that have specified times and/or availability may elect contract physical education by meeting the following requirements:
Participation in two (2) interscholastic sports (full seasons) during the preceding academic year;
Signature of Athletic Director, Physical Education teacher, Parent, Student, Guidance Counselor and House Principal;
Final Grade (Pass/Fail) to be determined by Athletic Director
The Modern Athlete

Prerequisite: completion of grades 9 and 10
This course will be divided into three parts: Kinesiology (study of human motion), basic Athletic Training, and the Athlete’s Table (nutrition). Students will be able to explore ways to improve their performance in athletics. There may be opportunities for hands-on experience after school with the Athletic Trainer.

The Peer Tutoring Program allows students to provide tutoring/mentoring to other students in a variety of venues including academic classrooms, the PASS Tutoring Center, and our PACE program, while receiving course credits. Interested students should be willing to commit their time to helping others with course work, homework, organization, and/or time management.
PASS Tutoring Center

The PASS Tutoring program is a tutoring/mentoring program run during the regular school day. It is designed to provide tutoring, organizational, and homework support in all subjects for any student who would benefit from academic support. The PASS Tutoring Program is accessed by referrals through our guidance department or student self-selection.
Bunker Hill Community College Dual Enrollment Program
Prerequisites: Approval of House Principal and House Guidance Counselor
Students may enroll in Pre-College or College level courses through Bunker Hill Community College. To enroll, students must complete a BHCC application and required placement test. Courses are currently available in the areas of English, ESL, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Sociology.
Virtual High School (VHS)
Level: CP, Honors, AP

Prerequisite: permission of guidance counselor and house principal.
