Reminder! Friday, January 14th is a 12:30PM dismissal. Please plan accordingly to pick your student up. Lunch will be served.
First Annual Robotics Competition!
Today opens our first annual robotics competition. From January 10th- January 31st students in grades 7 &8 can opt to participate in a robotics challenge. Students must program a robot to complete a maze and the 3 challenges within. Robot to complete the maze the fastest, wins. This robotics challenge was 100% designed and tested by one of our very own 8th graders!
For more information/ rules, please see linked Google Doc! Don’t worry families of students in Grades 5 and 6! Students in these grades can tackle the challenge in February! Stay tuned for updates!

Free Malden Vaccine Clinics Happening in January
Please see the attached flyers for the Vaccine Clinics happening for free in Malden. Next Clinic is happening today from 5PM to 8PM at the Newland Street Community Room- Malden Housing. Vaccine is free, no appointment needed. No ID or Health Insurance needed. Frist dose, second dose and booster available.

11 AM Dismissal Dec 23rd
Reminder! Thursday December 23rd is an 11AM Dismissal. There will be no lunch served. Additionally, winter break begins on Dec 24th through December 30th. Students return to school on Monday, January 3rd 2022.
Progress Reports Distribution: Dec 20th
Progress reports will go home on Monday December 20th. Paper copies will be sent home for students in grades K-4. Grades 5-8 can view progress reports in the Aspen portal.
12 Days til Break Starts Tomorrow
Help us show our celebrate Salemwood Spirit by participating in the 12 Days Til Break count down starting on December 8th. Each day dress up according to the theme outlined on the calendar below. Can’t wait to see your school spirit!
