Welcome Back To School!
WELCOME BACK! I hope you had a great summer and are excited for the upcoming school year. I want to extend a warm welcome to all our new and returning families. It is with great enthusiasm that we look forward to the start of the 2024-2025 school year here at Beebe.
First Day of School for grades 1 through 8 is on August 28th. We will start promptly, so please ensure your child arrives on time. Grades 1-6 begin at 8:15 and grades 7 & 8 start at 7:45.
For the first two weeks of school students will line up at 8:10 (grades K-6) and 7:45 (grades 7 & 8) on the plaza & Elm street as we have in years past. Their homeroom teachers will come outside to meet their students and walk them into school.
During these two weeks: Grades K-2 will be served breakfast in the classroom. Grades 3-8 will be offered grab-and-go breakfast. They will take their selection to their homeroom to eat during morning routines.
Start Times
Be sure to arrive to school on time. Breakfast for students is served as they walk into school or in their classrooms.
Kindergarten- Grade 6 start time: 8:15am-2:15pm.
Grade 7 & Grade 8 start time: 7:45am-2:20pm.
Teacher Assignment/ Student Schedules
Student placement letters will be sent out by August 14th. Please give the postal service some time to deliver letters before calling the school. If you have not received your letter by August 23rd, please let the office know.

o8/21 2:30-4:30pm – City of Malden sponsored free backpack drive at the Linden School Park on Wescott Street! Each family is able to receive 2 backpacks full of school supplies to start the year. You must register in advance at www.maldenrec.com

Kindergarten Orientation/ Screening
Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for August 29th at 9:00 AM for Kindergarten students and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers, and learn more about what to expect.
Breakfast and Lunch
Every student in Malden Public Schools is provided with a free breakfast and lunch-no paperwork needed. Breakfast is provided to students as they walk into the building or directly in their classroom. Each month, you may view the breakfast and lunch menus for our school at the link below. Be sure to bookmark the page and check at the start of each month to view the new menu.
