Join us for a FREE interactive workshop for parents & families in the community on how to engage in more meaningful conversations with youth around healthy decision making & handling stress. Superintendent Salutes – April 2018

In early April, Malden Access Television (MATV) taped the very first “Superintendent Salutes” monthly show. Superintendent Salutes will highlight student achievement and the great work that takes place in MPS.

Superintendent Salutes plays on MATV’s Educational Channel ( Comcast 15 and Verizon 24) at 7:30 pm on Mondays, 8:00 pm on Thursdays, 10:00 pm on Saturdays and 3:00 pm on Sundays.

Parent and Community Focus Group Meeting at Linden STEAM Academy on Wednesday, May 2, 2018

Mass Careers Pre-Apprenticeship & Leadership program comes to MHS!

Malden Superintendent of Schools John Oteri is pleased to Report that Malden High School has signed an agreement with the Associated builders and Contractors, Inc., Merit Apprenticeship Program to offer pre-apprentice and leadership training. Training will include 75 hours of general construction, OSHA 10, and hositing training, followed by placement. Classes will be held later this month in the Maker Space at Malden High School in the late afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday and Thursdays. An additional call will be held on Wednesday evening for Malden High School Seniors beginning in June where youth will receive training in OSHA-10 and Construction Math, with the opportunity to move into full pre-apprentice program.
