Jump Start 2016-17

Program starts September 8 for grades K-8.

The program runs until the last day of school.

Before school programs have proven to be a valuable resources to each school, offering enrichment opportunities, homework assistance, and recreation to students in grades K-8 before the school day. In many cases, the program is a safe haven for students who need to be brought to school early because of family work schedules.

The programs at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools start at 7:00 am. Children should arrive no later than 7:10 am to be part of the activities. At the end of the program, children are brought to the cafeteria for breakfast.  Children are supervised in the cafeteria.  If children wish to have the school breakfast, they must bring the breakfast fee with them each day or they may bring their own snack.


You may register anytime during the school year at Salemwood School, 529 Salem Street, Room A125.  Registration forms for Jump Start can also be obtained by contacting PCSM at 781-388-0643 ext 1125, please call to set up an appointment. There is a three day processing time from the time registration is received.

Program Fees:

The fee for Jump Start is $5.00 per day at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools.  Limited financial aid is available for families. We will require a copy for our files of your most recent 1040 in order to qualify for financial aid. The registration fee is $10.00, and a 25% deposit is required at the time of registration. The program runs all year until the last day of school.

Students will register for the program for the entire 2016-2017 school year, with a minimum of 2 days per week.  You must select the days your child will attend, as this is not a drop in program.
