Jump Start 2017-18
Program starts September 7 for grades K-8.
The program runs until the last day of school.

Before school programs have proven to be a valuable resources to each school, offering enrichment opportunities, homework assistance, and recreation to students in grades K-8 before the school day. In many cases, the program is a safe haven for students who need to be brought to school early because of family work schedules.
The programs at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools start at 7:00 am. Children should arrive no later than 7:10 am to be part of the activities. At the Salemwood School the program starts at 6:45 am and children must be present by 6:55 am. At the end of each program, children are brought to the cafeteria for breakfast. Children are supervised in the cafeteria. If children wish to have the school breakfast, they must bring the breakfast fee with them each day or they may bring their own snack.
Registration for Jump Start will be held:
- August 24 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and August 29 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Salemwood School K-4 entrance.
- August 31 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at either the Beebe, Forestdale, or Salemwood Schools.
You must register at one of these registrations for your child to begin the program on September 7. After that, you must register at the Salemwood School between 8:00 am 4:00 pm. Please call PCSM at 78/870-7684 to set up an appointment. There is a three day processing time from the time registration is received.
The fee for Jump Start is $5.00 per day at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools, and $4.50 at the Salemwood School. Financial aid is available for families. We will require a copy for our files of your most recent 1040 in order to qualify for financial aid. The registration fee is $10.00, and a 25% deposit is required at the time of registration. The program runs all year until the last day of school.
Students will register for the program for the entire 2017-18 school year, with a minimum of 2 days per week. You must select the days your child will attend, as this is not a drop in program.
