Position: Part Time Traffic Supervisors (Crossing Guards) – Multiple Positions

Department: Malden Police Department, Traffic Commission

Starting Salary: $20.15 per hour

Work Hours: Varied, as needed

Duties: Provide safe crossing at crosswalks, as assigned, for pedestrians and students walking to and from school.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand in one area for 1 hour intervals to monitor and ensure traffic flow in all directions while providing safe crossing at busy intersections throughout the City of Malden. Must be assertive and give clear direction to both pedestrians and drivers. Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
