Grade 4 and the Production of Annie

On Wednesday, January 30th, the fourth grade attended a performance of “Annie” at the Greater Boston Stage Company in Stoneham, MA. The students thoroughly enjoyed the show that was performed by students in grades 6-9. They were amazed by the talent of the star of the show, Shelagh Liljander, who played Annie. Shelagh is an eighth grader here at the Beebe. During the Talkback segment, after the play, students were able to ask the actors questions about learning lines, balancing homework and rehearsing, costumes, etc. A great time was had by all.

January Beebe Bulletin

The GE Foundation and the Boston Celtics created the Brilliant Career Play(BCP) mobile STEM lab to help increase STEM experiences and education for Massachusetts middle school students.  BCP is equipped with STEM resources, career planning, and essential skills training to help inspire students. At the end of the event, the entire Beebe school was able to meet a Celtics player, Al Horford, and retired player, Dana Barros at a rally taking place in the Beebe school gymnasium.  This helped encourage school spirit throughout all the grades.
