Jump Start – Before School Program

2015 – 2016 School Year
Program starts September 10 for grades K-8. The program runs until the last day of school.

Beebe, Forestdale and Salemwood Schools*

*Each school will need at least 9 students per day to have a program at that site.

Before school programs have proven to be a valuable resources to each school, offering enrichment opportunities, homework assistance, and recreation to students in grades K-8 before the school day. In many cases, the program is a safe haven for students who need to be brought to school early because of family work schedules.

The program at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools start at 7:00 am and at 6:45 am at the Salemwood School.  Children should arrive no later than 7:10 or 6:55 am to be part of the activities. At the end of the program, children are brought to the cafeteria for breakfast.  Children are supervised in the cafeteria.  If children wish to have the school breakfast, they must bring the breakfast fee with them each day or they may bring their own snack.


You may register anytime during the school year at 200 Pleasant Street, Room 215.  Registration forms for Jump Start can also be obtained by contacting PCSM at 781-397-7320, please call to set up an appointment. You may also download a registration here and mail it to PCSM at the address listed above. There is a three day processing time from the time registration is received.

You may register for Jump Start at our after school registrations as follows:

September 2 and September 3 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Beebe, Forestdale and Salemwood School.

For any registrations received after September 3, the start date will be September 14.  For registrations received after that time frame, there will be a three day processing time.

Program Fees:

The fee for Jump Start is $5.00 per day at the Beebe and Forestdale Schools.  Salemwood School is $4.50 per day.  Limited financial aid is available for families. We will require a copy for our files of your 2014 1040 in order to qualify for financial aid. The registration fee is $10.00, and a 25% deposit is required at the time of registration. The program runs all year until the last day of school.

Students will register for the program for the entire 2015-2016 school year, with a minimum of 2 days per week.  You must select the days your child will attend, as this is not a drop in program.
